Saturday 11^th January

First trip up, in a bit of a rush, to plant the garlics. They’ve gone in where the French beans had been. I really need to do this year’s plan! Set P on the forsythia with the big cutters, as stage 1 of my ‘remove the annoying shrubs’ drive. Now a huge pile of wood on the plot. Added a few bits of Jostaberry as well for good measure. I can actually walk up the path now without getting tree in my face!

Rescued the various bits of compost bin from where they’d blown in the storms.
