Am now feeling like things are getting going properly. I´ve got potatoes chitting, shallots about to go into pots, and 28 minicole cabbages up (as well as two Red Jewels). I wasn´t able to find some Verina leeks (come on, Unwins! You may have merged catalogues with Marshall´s but did you *have* to lose the best organic rust-resistant leek on the flipping market?) so am trying Carentan instead. Time will tell. Next: tomatoes... with Easter being so early, I don´t think I´ll be getting the spuds in over the holiday, but maybe mid-April when I´ve got my son´s baptism out of the way.
